The Tennessee Child Care Resource and Referral provides resources for parents, child care professionals, employers and the community that support quality care and development of our children.

For parents:

Provided information on child care availability in their community

Referrals to other services or programs in response to family needs

Provide access to resources that support children with special needs

For child care professionals:

Provide trainings that promote quality early childhood education in the areas of:

·         Health & Safety

·         Child Development

·         Early Childhood Education

·         Developmentally Appropriate Behavior Management

·         Child Care Administration

Provide technical assistance/consultation based on request by phone, on site, mail or e-mail

·         Share information in the areas of health and safety, inclusion, developmentally appropriate practice, licensing regulations, and environment assessments

Provide resources through a lending library that contains early childhood related resources that may be checked out

Provide access to resources that serve children with special needs

For employers:

Our services offer a unique blend to help families and communities ensure that their children arrive at kindergarten ready to succeed

Plan for local child care needs by working with other community groups to develop resources
