WESLEY MAYES (left) is the Marketing Specialist and Public Relations Strategist for the Tennessee Child Care Resource & Referral Network. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He hopes that by linking educators to mental-health experts, they will begin to see self-care as a tool that they can use to not only enrich their own lives, but also the lives of the children they care for. ALEX FARRELL (right) is the Marketing & Communications Specialist for Child Care WAGE$® Tennessee. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and the Arts from Belmont University and a Master’s degree in Theology, Imagination and the Arts from the University of St. Andrews. He looks forward to creating space for honest conversation about the struggles and difficulties associated with early childhood education, in order to dive head first into solving some of those prevalent issues through providing resources, solidarity, and words of encouragement.
